Looking for a simple accessory movement that will mobilize your shoulders, strengthen your core, and chisel your triceps?  Try the piked dumbbell miracle gro!

This is a variation on the supine miracle gro I learned from Dane Miller over at Garage Strength.

I liked the piked position as it really forces your core to work hard as it keeps the torso upright and braced.  The dumbbell being behind the head keeps the shoulders in terminal flexion and opens them up.  By sitting down, It decreases the complexity of the movement and makes this a safer movement for folks new to the gym.

Great to superset with dumbbell leg work or even an upper body horizontal pulling movement.
