November is right around the corner and we are pumped to hold our next Barbells and Brewskis event here at Steelworks and it is going to be bigger and better than ever!  After a lot of reflection and tinkering, we are transforming the event this month!  Beginning at 9:00 am, we are holding varying start waves that coincide with ability level.  Newly converted couch potato?  Start at 9:00 am and learn the basics of bodyweight movement.  Experienced weightlifter/ter?  Come on in at 11:00 am and crush some big weights .

Pick a start time that fits your ability level!

Level 1 – 9:00 am
Foundational Athletic Movements.
No experience in weightlifting needed!
*Session capped at 30 athletes

Level 2 – 9:30 am
Basic Barbell Instruction.
Learn how to move athletically with the barbell.
*Session capped at 30 athletes.

Level 3 – 10:00 am
Introduction to the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk
Building off of Level 2, athletes learn basic patterns of movement to snatch, clean, and jerk effectively and efficiently.
*Session capped at 30 athletes.

Level 4 – 11:00 am
Lift heavy / Mystery Team Workout
Practice snatching, cleaning, and jerking.
Participate in a team mystery workout with cool people!
*Session capped at 40 athletes.

Level 5 -12:00
Drink ALL of the beer!
After a long morning of lifting weights what better way to relax with your neighbors and friends than with some cold home brewed adult beverages and tasty snacks!
