The ring dip is an intermediate gymnastics movement which is a great tool to develop upper body pushing capacity, core endurance, and body awareness.  Found in benchmark workouts like “Elizabeth”, the ring dip is a staple of the metcon.  For this reason, a athlete absent the capacity to perform the ring dip reveals an athlete with an incomplete skill set.
