Let’s face it, folks: rowing on an erg can be downright nasty. It can be even worse if we aren’t using our legs as efficiently as possible.

One movement error I discovered in my own rowing was the concept of “overcompression”; my thighs were too close to my ankles at the end of my stroke’s recovery.

Fixing this error will result in a much more powerful stroke. Super important considering how there will more than likely be a rowing workout in the#OPEN this year.  Check out my video below to help address this error in technique.
