A while back, I came across a shirt with a provocative message: “Eat the Weak.”

I remember thinking, “what a badass slogan! Screw weak people!”

Recently, I have revisited that statement and found that it no longer jives with my philosophy as a strength coach.

I train people everyday to make them better physically, mentally, and emotionally. My goal is to make help everyone realize their full potential. It’s a journey, however, that requires constant nourishment. People need to feast on feedback, be it from the barbell, their teammates, or their coach.

At Steelworks Crossfit, we as a community of coaches and athletes are called to “Feed the Weak.” We want EVERYONE to realize their potential. No one should ever be left hungry for more strength.
