One comment I get a lot from people is, “I want to work on my core.” to which I reply, “excellent!” Everyone should include some kind of focused core work.

Do you want to improve body composition or do you require a core that must handle the demands of a sporting event (soccer, basketball, etc.)? The answer to that question will change how you should train your core.
