Lots of new PRs yesterday.  Perhaps the most surprising (but not really…she’s stronger than she thinks!) lift of the day was from Renae Bergh with a 25 pound PR at 140.  It wasn’t the smoothest of lifts, but we will be working on that over the winter…

I can’t let my athletes have all of the PR fun to themselves. This was an unexpected 5 pound PR at 210 that felt as smooth as butter. Realized that I was shorting my first pull a bit. Stayed over the bar a little longer before transitioning to that second pull and it felt so much more explosive at the hip. Dare I say it? Am I finally figuring out this weightlifting jazz?
